Products Available at our Office

Biofreeze

Biofreeze

Biofreeze products are classified as topical analgesics, which work through a 'counter irritant' mechanism. This means that the menthol in Biofreeze creates a sensation that overrides pain signals to the brain. This process is known as 'Gate Control Theory', where nerve impulses from one stimulus block the nerves containing pain signals to the brain. Recent research also suggests that menthol may stimulate cold receptors in the skin that may help regulate pain as well.

Ice Packs

Ice Packs

Ice pack therapy is a treatment of cold temperatures to an injured area of the body. An ice pack is placed over an injured area and is intended to absorb heat of a closed traumatic or edematous injury by using conduction to transfer thermal energy.

Stretching Strap

Stretching Strap

Use the Stretching Strap to stretch the muscles of the body that most likely are causing you pain and discomfort.

Foam Roll

Use the foam roll to iron out your muscles. Patients can use this at home between visits to speed up the recovery from muscle injury.
